Shoulder Care

Shoulders are complex! The shoulder joint offers the most range of motion of any joint in the body, and are instrumental for climbing, throwing, bearing weight through the arms, and reaching for heavy things.

Performing shoulder-specific exercises, like the ones outlined below, can help build #strength and #mobility in your shoulder muscles and joints. Before you do any of these exercises, spend 5 to 10 minutes #warmingup with #dynamic upper body #stretches such as #armcircles, #armswings, and #spinalrotations.


- Ear to shoulder neck rolls

- Cross body shoulder stretch

- Quadraped shoulder circles

- Cat/Cow pose

- Standing forward fold

- Melting heart or Child's pose

- Sphinx pose

- Reverse fly

- Overhead shoulder press

- Low back hand clasp

- Shoulder Rolls
