Feedback from some of our last participants:

You two should do a podcast, the information is soo helpful. -Cynthia

I learned wellness is best achieved through developing lifelong healthy habits. I need to be kinder to myself – take time to rest. I was less focused on losing weight and more on feeling my best – and still lost weight! -Amber

About your hosts:

Kaley Metler CPT, BSc Mathematics (Honors):

Certified Personal Trainer, Sports Nutrition III, Group Fitness Coach, Mom & Duck & Chicken Owner

I am passionate about leading our society to a better place by sharing my love for fitness(especially outdoors), slowing down to smell the flowers, and eating for nourishment. I grew up on a family farm and ranch in Arizona. I have a husband that I drive crazy, 2 loving kids, cat, chickens, and ducks. I have played competitive sports all my life. Running has always been part of my training and I was Arizona State Champion in 300 Hurdles & 800 M moving on to attend National Qualifying Meet. Hard work paid off and we also won the Arizona State Basketball champ title in 1995. I have a fun easy-going spirit and love to encourage the family aspect of training. I focus on mobility & core engagement, ensuring we learn how to move our joints for better range of motion and less injury. I am skilled teaching these class types: Pilates, learn to run, Athletic Mobility/Flexibly Training, Aquafit, Bootcamp, micro workouts, HIIT, walk fit, kickboxing, Chair Fitness, and a few more. I really enjoy working with those over 50 & tweens/teens. I love teaching barefoot in nature so we can escape the digital world and learn to develop all the great muscles in our feet. For mindful eating (nutrition), my journey has been on a steady incline to BETTER. First 15 yrs. of my working career were in field engineering. On the go style eating (eating out about 50%, but I did take along a lot of cans of tuna). I had my food sensitivity test done by a naturopath and it was smooth sailing if I ate according to it. I am fascinated how the body can be so healthy by our food choices. I now have my Level 3 Certification in Sports Nutrition so I can help my clients even more :)

Lynda Bonus, Co-creator of Breaking Free to Wellness & Work-life balance expert.

After suffering a burnout (the result of being consumed by my career), I was forced to make some serious changes to SAVE my life. I had to take (and continue to do so!) a long and deep look at myself and ask, "who am I" and "what do I want". This led to a shift in priorities and freedom that I am grateful for every day! I love to practice and promote self-care in many forms. A few of them you might see me doing are dance, Yoga, Rest, Day Trips, cooking, gardening, reading, poundfit, and slowing down to think, celebrate, and enjoy life.

You know all the stuff many say we want to do but we don't make time for it. I MAKE time for it and would love to show you, my methods. I love to practice and promote self-care in many forms.
